Ultimate Billiard Service, Inc. has transformed from a Retail Store to specializing in a ‘Service Only’ company with emphasis in four primary services. 1) Recovering Pool tables – removing the old felt and replacing with new fabric. 2) Moving a table – generally a customer buys a used table and wants it relocated to their home and possibly re-felted and 3) Replacing the rubber on a table. 4) We provide a unique ‘pool table locator’ service for customers. Our first location started January 2007 in a suburb of Dallas, Texas. We currently have 5 company owned locations as of January 2011. I have personally been in the ‘pool table’ business for about 20 years – owning a large retail store, a pool room and now focusing on the service only business. We truly provide quality work and are totally customer focused. Being an avid pool player has also been a significant help. The league players provide an incremental amount of work as they often have a pool table – word of mouth is fabulous as it offers advertising better than paid advertisements – it helps develop a business reputation. It is definitely a niche business. Accordingly, it requires training and practice to become recognized as an expert. Our customers are generally ‘home owners’ – someone buying a table, having their existing table recovered, installing replacement rubber or wanting to locate a used Pool Table. They are able to find us through our Extensive Phone Book advertizing, Web based Google Searches, our home Web Site or through our Internet Links from various providers. We are ‘all about Image’. We have a distinctive registered logo, Website, and focus on a deliberate repeatable process from each of our 5 locations. We are able to maintain a consistent image by using well trained full time associates and meet regularly to discuss processes.
